Perfect for any retail business, this 1,000-square-foot commercial space features original built-in shelves and counters on three walls, a 1901 stove as a centerpiece, and a charming, original safe. The historic business licenses, still tacked to the wall, offer a glimpse of the goods offered by the general store that first occupied the space in the early 1900s.
The space served as a general store from 1905 up until the mid-1960s. It then sat empty for almost half a century, until we bought the building in 2016 and started renovating the two retail units and the apartments above. Since the restoration, this space has hosted several events and served as a gift shop.
